Brittany Gavegan
Hi i'm Brittany! I've been living in Arizona full time for almost 4 years now. I came from Colorado originally and what brought me down here was the warm weather and of course the team roping capitol of the world! I grew up riding and showing in the English world and started rodeoing when I was in high school, mainly running barrels and a little bit of breakaway roping. It wasn't until college that my love of team roping started and I decided to pursue that love in and my move here. I've also rediscovered my love for breakaway roping and am beyond excited about the opportunities and possibilities in this event! I've made both my horses myself and just picked up a 4 year old i'm looking forward to starting now! When i'm not busy roping and riding i'm typically behind the camera and computer creating wonderful images and designs for people.

Allie Lacey
I am Allie. I am mortgage processor by day. All the other hours of the day are spent tending to our cows and horses.
We are looking forward to having our second crop of calves from our Angus/Akashi program hit the ground in November and December.
MP Hay Give Mea Rose, “Riata”, is my number one girl right now. She is a derby horse right now. We are currently hitting the road to some bigger derby’s and open races along with entering GCPRA rodeos.
My Mom and I are currently breeding and raising our own horses. We love it. I have been starting our horses since I was in the 8th grade. In 2018, we met Kelli Kamm and she has completely improved and mentored me through training Riata correctly on the barrel pattern. I wouldn’t be where I am without her and my Mother’s guidance.
The next horse I have coming up is a yearling gelding named Apollo. He is by Aintseennothingyet out of our Potter Ranch bred mare. The next colt, Cinders is out of our mare and by Johnny Reb Jackson. Riata won this breeding for me at the Greg Olsen Futurity. These boys are going to be a lot of fun.

Kiersten Pettus
Hi! My name is Kiersten Pettus, I’m 21 years old and live in the sunny city of Gilbert, AZ. I am a PROUD member of the Central Arizona College Rodeo Team, and was recently given the opportunity to be the Grand Canyon Region Student Director for the NIRA, a hard earned but very amazing opportunity. This is my second year carrying my WPRA card, after winning the Turquoise Circuit Permit Finals in 2020. I am also a long time member of the GCPRA and have been able to run my way into #1 in the standings for 2021. I have big goals for 2022, and can’t wait for the new year to come. I am very blessed to have the support of my Grandparents, Santa Maria Feeds, and First Choice PEMF to keep my 7 horses stocked up, feeling their best, and safe on the road. Becoming a Santa Maria Sponsored rider is a big highlight of my 2021 year, and I am very thankful for Nicole and her teams support. I stay stocked with many of Santa Maria products including One AC, Zesterra,Rocket Legs, Vetline electrolyte paste, KoolSpeed, and last but certainly not least, their homegrown steamed alfalfa. My horses have been at the top of their game thanks to Santa Maria’s advice and expertise. Here’s to a great year with the greatest support team.

Nina Baldenegro
My name is Nina Baldenegro, I am 18 years old. Born and raised in Chandler Az. I am attending Central Arizona college in Coolidge Az in the fall. I will be competing in the barrel racing event for the rodeo team along with getting my degree in Equine Science. Along with college rodeo I also plan to rodeo with GCPRA this upcoming year. My horse I will be competing off this year is a 15 year old black appendix gelding name Cash. He came from my family's ranch in Oklahoma where my aunt ran barrels on him for about 5 years. My uncle sent Cash out to me to compete on in December of 2019. My other horse is Desi, She is a 20 year old palomino quarter horse mare that I've had since I was born. She is now retired but used to be known as the Queen of consistency in the barrels. She is the kind of horse that gives her all and that you could do just about anything on.
In 2017 I was the All Around Champion for the Chandler Vaqueros Saddle Club. I have won a lot of prizes at the Jr Rodeos. When we got Cash I finally had a horse that I could High School Rodeo. He gives me his all at each rodeo and placed 22nd in the state, which is more than I could've imagined. This past January we competed at the Sherry Cervi Youth Championships and brought home the 2D Average saddle.
My goal for this upcoming year is to keep hitting personal goals such as place in a couple rodeos, keep barrels up, and to keep betting myself every rodeo. We have been working hard and planning to have a lot of fun this year.

Sarah Goroscope
Hi, my name is Sarah Gorospe and I am a second generation Arizona native. I’m blessed to be a mom and a wife to my amazing son and husband. They love to come and support me and my horse at our barrel racing events. I’ve had horses for 30 years and have competed off and on during that time, barrel racing and team penning. My most recent accomplishments with my barrel horse Sunny this year have been winning the incentive at the Camp Verde Spring Round Up Rodeo with the GCPRA, and we recently won the 2D buckle at the Tanner Productions Too Hot To Handle buckle series this summer.
I bought my horse VF Redhot Frosty aka Sunny off Facebook when she was two years old and just barely started under saddle. She has been a joy to train, pattern, and season, and is really coming into her own this year barrel racing. She loves her job, as well as trail riding, team sorting, and more than anything, swimming at the lake.
I also have a three year old filly who is sired by Ain’t Seen Nothin Yet. Her registered name is FamousFrenchDrifter and we call her Skye. She went to the amazing Kelli Kamm to be started in February for two months and I have been riding and training her ever since. She is an in your pocket type love bug, and I have big plans for her!
This year we have set some big goals and have already accomplished a few of them. We will be competing at as many GCPRA rodeos as we can get to for the rest of the year, in hopes that we will qualify for the finals! We will also be entering the All In barrel race in Las Vegas in December. We are so excited to be sponsored by Santa Maria Feeds as we enjoy so many of their products and feed, and are happy to support a local family business and share our wonderful experiences with Santa Maria Feeds.

Gracie Alcott
Hello everyone, my name is Gracie Alcott, I am 17 years old and started my senior year at Holbrook High School. I live in Winslow, AZ. In my Native culture (Diné/Navajo), we introduce ourselves by our four clans, which are very important to me: I am of the Salt Clan, born for the Bitterwater Clan, my maternal grandfather’s clans is the Manygoats clan and my paternal grandfather’s clan is Red Running into the Water clan. I come from a rodeo and ranching family, my mom and dad both pro rodeoed in their 20s and have a lot of accomplishments. My dad continues to pro rodeo in the team roping. I first got started with horses when I was 6 years old, I rode my mom’s retired pro rodeo horse in jr rodeos, where I first started winning. After that, the horse that built my horsemanship is “Corona” (Corona in the Sun) and I picked up other teachings from my family. My other horse is still green “Haydin” (Let’s Have a Hayday). I am very grateful for these two horses. I mostly barrel race, but I also rope. I compete frequently with the Arizona High School Rodeo Association, Indian Nationals Finals Rodeo Association, Navajo Nation Rodeo Association, and Southwest Indian Rodeo Association.
My goals for 2021-22 are to qualify for the Indian National Finals Rodeo and for the NHSRA Finals, as well as to have fast, consistent runs throughout the year which can place me in the averages. Other goals I have for this year is to finish Haydin and make her consistent in her runs, to better my mentality during competitions, learn more about horsemanship, build a bigger personality that is open to talk and click with anyone, to also graduate in the top 10 of my class at Holbrook High School and continue my National Honor Society duties. I am very honored and excited to represent Santa Maria Feeds as a sponsor this year! With this partnership, I am looking forward to accomplishing my goals!

Peyton Moretti
My name is Peyton Moretti, I am 19 years old, and live in Scottsdale Arizona! All my life I have been in love with horses and about 4 years ago is when my life with horses started really coming together. As a young child, it was my absolute dream to train horses, and now, my dreams came true! I have been training wild horses for 4 years now and was just currently accepted as a TIP Trainer by the Mustang Heritage Foundation. I absolutely love taking in client horses to start them under saddle and get them a great start at their under saddle career as well as starting my own babies under saddle once they are ready. I also compete in shows with my main mustang, Groot N Groovy who is my 4 year old and we travel all over to all breed horse shows, open mustang shows, trail challenges, and much more. Along side these shows, I also compete in 100 day mustang challenges! Being able to help others with their horses, as well as these wild horses, always makes up a bad day no matter what and I hope to do it for most of my life! Having horses in my life is really like therapy and I hope that everyone, someday in their life, gets the experience what it’s like to own such an amazing animal.

Nathalie Baughman
I am a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist as well as a USDF L-Graduate with Distinction ! Together with my husband Doug we own a small private Dressage Training Barn in Glendale, AZ called Baughman Ranch llc.
I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the US when I met my American husband Doug back in 2005 ! We moved here end of 2006 after we got married in Germany, we have two kids, our son Lukas who is 13 years old now and loves and plays club baseball and our daughter Lily who is 9 years old and of course rides and competes in dressage on the national level including at all offered championships!
I have been riding my whole life! Started early at age 4 in classical dressage riding school and competed up to 3rd level in Germany then I really wanted to check out jumpers so I started jumping at age 14 and competed up to the 1.35 m levels and was able to achieve my FN (German riding association similar to USEF) bronze certification in dressage as well as jumping and silver certification in jumping ! I am also a USHJA Cat.1 certified hunter/jumper trainer although meanwhile I have to admit that my heart most definitely lies with dressage ! I have trained and ridden with some of the best national and international dressage trainers/riders in Europe and here in the US, a couple of them even being Olympic medalists and was therefore able so far to really improve and further my knowledge and my own riding skills and am constantly continuing my own education in this beautiful sport. I am very proud to share this knowledge with my clients in their lessons or while I train their horses and at pretty much all of our AZ dressage shows and championships ! I also judge local schooling dressage shows for all of our local dressage associations such as ADA and TDC !
